Students will be able to better discover, compare and apply for more than 7000 higher education courses using a new website launched today.
Minister for Education Dan Tehan said the Course Seeker website would allow prospective undergraduate students to research and apply for a course that’s right for them.
"This website is a one stop shop that cuts through the spin, and provides students with transparent, independent and unbiased information," Mr Tehan said.
"The website will provide clear information about courses and institutions from across Australia, including student satisfaction rates and employment outcomes.
"The website was designed following extensive work with tertiary admission centres, sector regulator TEQSA and higher education institutions and is part of the Morrison Government’s efforts to improve transparency in higher education admissions.
"Importantly, the Course Seeker website will make a real difference for prospective students from rural and regional communities who can’t attend university open days or visit the campus in person."
